Opportunity to Sign Up to Free Sports Sessions
Looking to build on Team Mole Valley's success in last year's Specsavers Surrey Youth Games, young people are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in FREE training sessions ahead of the 2018 competition taking place on 23 and 24 June at the Surrey Sports Park.The training sessions start towards the end of April for a six to eight-week period. The sessions are open to 7 to 16 year olds of all abilities, who either live or go to school in the district. Every young person taking part in these sessions is in with a chance of representing Team Mole Valley at this year's competition, sponsored by Specsavers. The Games feature a wide-range of sports, including Judo, Lacrosse, Hockey and Girl's Touch Rugby*.

Students at schools across the district are being encouraged to sign up to the annual competition. The Primary and Secondary schools with the highest percentage of pupils participating in the training sessions, which are run by local community sports clubs and led by qualified DBS-checked coaches, can look forward to receiving £150 of sports equipment.
