District and Parish Elections: 2 May 2019

Mole Valley District Council is composed of 41 councillors and elections are held by thirds, which means that one third of the seats are subject to re-election in each of three successive years, with County Council elections held every fourth year.

The next scheduled District Elections are on 02 May 2019 for the following wards:

  • Box Hill & Headley
  • Brockham, Betchworth & Buckland
  • Capel, Leigh & Newdigate
  • Charlwood
  • Dorking South
  • Holmwoods
  • Leatherhead North
  • Leith Hill
  • Mickleaham, Pixham & Westhumble
  • Okewood

Prospective Candidates' Evening for District and Parish Elections - 2nd May 2019

A seminar has been arranged for agents and prospective candidates for Monday 25th February 2019. The seminar will commence at 7pm and will be held in the Council Offices at Pippbrook, Dorking.

The purpose of the seminar is to provide anyone interested in standing in this year's District and Parish Council Elections on 2nd May 2019 with information about the process. This seminar will provide an overview of electoral procedure including the submission of nomination papers and key dates.
